Of course not. You're omnipotent and have no need of money.

Anybody that gives money to an omnipotent god apparently doesn't understand the concept.

Nothing like admitting your god is on the losing end and needs laws to be passed to keep him viable and in the game. haha.

I don't get the big deal. Money says the same thing. So what?

The big deal is the First Amendment . No government in religion . No religion in government . That is the big deal .

You know... "In God we Trust" is a lovely phrase. It rolls off the tongue. Its sounds so profound. I doubt it would be more verbally smooth if it were true.

HH =)

Small minded people who don't get that they endanger their real rights by trying to assert a fake right.

To quote Luke Skywalker "This is not going to end the way you think."

Grim-faced, uniformed students passing each other in the hallways, giving each other the Vulcan salute, and saying solemnly, "Ditat Deus."

That might be what Dominionist types, like Betsy DeVos, are aiming for. I am grateful for the ballot box. Now, if we only have enough people who are willing and able to make use of the ballot box SANELY, there might be hope.

I live in Tennessee so this is disappointing, but not unexpected. Evangelicals are going all out in political ads too. I have lived here 30 years and it never has been this extreme. They all seem to be trying to outdo each other in their proclaimed piety and force all to bow down to their form of religious belief. The first item on their political qualifications flyers is what church they go to and what positions they hold or of have held. It is disturbing and hopefully a trend that will burn itself out. Right now I am discouraged.
