I was on YouTube this morning and a pop up ad was from the LDS Church with President Nelson pleading those who have left to please come back. It actually was pathetic in a way. The reality is the church isn't growing. They are having some success in western Africa but they aren't converting new members in first world nations. Also LDS are postponing marriage and having fewer children. This trend will cause the church to start shrinking. The church will be around for a long time but it's days of growth are over. We will see the church push harder to reactivate the inactive; especially in the US.

The church is composed of idiots and that's why they will never grow again. They just don't get it. I didn't quit the church to become a libertine, I quit because I realized that it was a money sucking, elitist, false religion!!!!

I really think Mr. Burns would be more effective. He could do the hand wringing bit while he tells all the defectors that the gospel and Plan of Salvation are most E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T! And then he could threaten to throw all the defectors, bound and gagged, into one of his nuclear reactors if they don't return and report.
