Yep, you are on your own if you have a problem with any leader in that corp.
Rule 1: Ignore "Google". Rule 2. No more phone access Rule 3. Deny any accusations. Rule 4. Pretend everything is OK. Rule 5. Any opposition is SIN. Rule 6. Continue to Tithe to be RICH. Rule 7. Always always COVER UP. Rule 8. Reject ALL non Mormons. Rule 9. Work work work work work! Rule 10. Go back to Rule 1.
Mormons, from leadership on down, have a long tradition of labeling any criticism as persecution. That keeps them from actually needing to deal with the issues raised in the criticism.
I have corresponded with Steven Hassan. He gave me his newest book for review some time ago and it includes Mormonism. By all measures in my opinion, Mormonism fits the definition of a cult. He also spoke at an exmo conference
In my opinion Mormonism fits the bill as a "subtle" cult that is possible because it subtley hides under civility, threats of excommunication, and using hush-money from its billions and billions.
Learning about cults and listening to Steve Hassan's talk in ExMormon Conference cast aside any doubts in my mind that the undue influence (mind control) used in Mormonism ties the religion up neatly in a box with a rigid steal bow that is difficult, BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE, to break free from.
Steve Hassan states that in order for a person to realize they are in a cult and break free from its clutches he must study and learn what a cult is and is not. I have sent this challenge to those in my family who are captives of the MormonCult......I hope someday I can report that they followed his advice and have broken free.
