Funny you should ask. I downloaded this recipe yesterday. I haven't made jello in years but I'm going to try this for a party I'm throwing weekend after next.

Here's the infamous Green Jello recipe. This is from a cookbook that was put together by various employees when I worked in the COB: 1 large pkg of lime flavored jello;make the jello according to the directions on the pkg. Before refrigerating, add 1/2 carton cottage cheese, 1 small can pineapple tidbits, some shredded carrots, and Miracle Whip to taste. There is also a recipe for "Scripture Cookies", which I'll put here later; it's also from the COB cookbook.
My best friend died of cancer when we were 13. I remember him telling me many times how much he hated green Jell-O. When he was dying he hoped they wouldn't serve it after his funeral. They did. with shredded carrots and all.
