They're as entitled to their beliefs as we are to ours. Aren't you glad we live in a free country so we are free to choose?
When you're in a cult that freedom isn't what we take for granted. It's harder to leave a cult, especially when you don't know you're in one in the first place.
They're brainwashed. Once you can accept that, you pretty much have to let it go. You can't change people before they're ready to change themselves.
As a TBM it's easy for them to rationalize why they believe as they do. They do it all the time, or else they couldn't justify their belief system. Only until their shelf starts to crack do they start to question their beliefs. It's just a matter of time for some. For others it may take a lifetime, or never.
Stay away from the JW too. I enjoy your posts and my free advice to you is enjoy you are not wearing Gs anymore and the tithing you are saving. These days if a Mormon wants to leave his/her religion the information is at his/her finger tip and easy to find. I have some family members where I do not understand how they can believe in it knowing what they know but they do. I am glad that you are staying!!!
