Apparently, I’ve been missing out on the simple joys of just fucking around with a buddy who has a big aas truck! Lots of bad language up here, talking about sex, and flipping off the three Morg chapels in Raymond.

We’re headed to Cardston tomorrow. Bishop Burr has promised to get me properly attired and recommended for my personal revelation as to the truthfulness of Mormonism that he guarantees I’ll have.

Afterwards, we’re going to seal the deal with some 10 year-old single malt Scotch that the Boner brought up.

BTW, the Boner was up at 5:45 am; I woke up at 7:30 am. Things just feel differently in the country!

I posted something offensive towards the dead and it got deleted.

Hope your journey has been more than boner! I'm feeling one just thinking about it.

A bit of church/business history I stumbled across: Jesse Knight, famed Utah businessman who got the business building at BYU named after him, had a son, Raymond, who was shipped off to Alberta to open a sugar beet processing plant.

I don't know if the sugar beet plant is still around, but they did name the town after him. I imagine there is a similar story to how Stirling and Magrath got their names. Cardston to Taber is a mini-Mo Corridor of Mormon farmers. I bet LDS Inc has some serious land holdings tucked in there somewhere.

And now the region is being ganged up on by two Reprobates. Huzzah!

Cardston was founded by my great great grandfather.

Yes, that's my TBM family. Each of us owns land up there. Our next door neighbor is LDS, Inc., which owns a h-u-g-e cattle ranch. Gorgeous country!

They're on full alert: ATVs, helicopters, cruisers, horse-mounted units, even the sled dogs!

No drones? You haven't really made the list until they unleash the drones.

Check every outhouse, whorehouse...wait it's Boner, stop at the Whorehouse. ;=>

Not to worry, Ron is well-beloved here and can talk his way out of the gulags to the Southwest, if needed. The Mounties tip their hats when they see him.

I’ve visited with about 15 new Canadian friends just cruisin’ around flipping off Morg chapels. Ah, the simple pleasures are best!

OMG. W Cleon Skousen is from Raymond, AB. ::makes gagging sound::

Neither Stirling nor Magrath were named after Mormon settlers. The town of Raymond was named for Raymond Knight, who founded the Raymond Stampede.

Thanks, wikipedia.

Oh fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck! He was one of my BYU professors-boring, arrogant, and convinced everyone was a commie! He actively recruited for his “Freeman Institute” every chance he got. I didn’t know that little Raymond could produce such a native son.

Most excellent times with a most excellent gent! The sweet taste of Scotch is lingering on my breath, I’m just waiting for a sultry chanteuse to come in wearing a blue evening gown singing a little soft jazz.....

In Boston, you can find "New York pizza." In New York, you look for "Chicago pizza." I have no idea what's gourmet in Chicago. Dubuque pizza?

BYU-B, get me LB's contact information, and I'll send him some authentic Boston Baked Beans.

Boston pizza....sheesh!

Gino’s East—deep dish.

When you come out West, i’ll Make you some. Let’s just say that cast iron, the right ingredients, sauce on the top, double crust, and a hot oven will rival New York’s thin crust.

"BOSTON PIZZA" originated in Edmonton....and got that name because the owner's liked the way it sounded.

That's our Alberta right there. Hardly a town to be found that doesn't have a BP!
