I drunk a bottle of Caesar Augustus, a Scottish beer that is a combination of lager and IPA.

It worked reasonably well, though I am not sure I'd bother to try it again.

So, what's your tipple this Friday evening?

I don't know right now, but after Collins' statement, it's going to need to be strong. Maybe a single malt rocks.

Strong for me on a Friday night will be a cup of brewed Chai tea. It's cold and rainy here, so just the right thing to warm me up.

I agree with the Collins statement. Where are the profiles in courage when you need them?

Typical Friday night -- nice cold glass of Chardonnay on the porch watching the sun set. :)

I like that. Big Rock ale for Big Rock Ron. Hey, whatever happened to that big rock that was out in your field years ago. Last I saw it, it was moved north of the house, then eventually disappeared altogether.

Today is the first rainy day in the Portland, OR area for quite some time, so no fire pit tonight. I'm stopping off and getting a bottle of Snake River Stampede Canadian Whiskey on the way home. Wood stove fire and a good movie.

Update: Just had a small glass of strawberry and lime cider which was OK, but nothing to shout about (Lidl's own brand) and now drinking a can of Barry Island IPA, an American style IPA from Brains Craft Brewery, run by Brains, one of Wale's top brewers. Beer is a fine American style IPA, created by Simon Martin.

Does it come down to a decision of what to drink with dinner? Or what to eat that goes with the beer?

:D

My nite cap is almond milk topped off with espresso. In the a.m. I may do the reverse by having the espresso topped with almond milk.

;)

Just sprite... not much of a drinker. There's a bottle of vodka that's been sitting in my freezer for like a year.
