What happened to the Fatwah against the"MORmON" ID?
Since they're no longer MORmONs, and they are biggest Trump supporters, why not "Trumpites"?
The comments, lol

I noticed that this young man doesn't have anything to say about the politics of the president just the morality of the president. I forgive him and our OP for their naivete but it must still be said that bad (for lack of a better word) people have done things that have had a positive impact.

I wonder who among us would skirt the ethical line to achieve something that was understood to be good. For myself I know that I have.

To be clear I'm not a fan of the person or the politics but this sort of critique is less useful than the one that the supremely stupid Robert Jeffress gave. To me it is like saying that Mormons are bad because Joseph Smith was bad.

One last comment. The writer of that piece seems to have a head on his shoulders and I hope that he finds his way out of Mormonism.

How can you support a bad person and still consider yourself good?

Mormons support an authoritative patriarch, more than any other religious identification, because they took a suicidal oath in the temple to 'Speak no Evil of the Lord's anointed'. Mormons take that to the extreme. I've seen it so many times in my life, where Mormons look the other way when it's one of the "Lord's Anointed" who's doing the abusing.
Those 61% of Mormons who support the President of Jesusland, are the the ones he was talking about when he said he could go out in the middle of Times Square and shoot an innocent person in the head and he wouldn't lose a supporter.
My question is, where's the line?
I mean if the line is't between right and wrong, what is it between? If it's not wrong to shoot an innocent bystander in the face, than what about 10 people? or 100? or 1,000? At what point does it become wrong to kill an innocent person or people?
If his followers say it's no big deal to kill a person in Times Square, then what about if he went out and killed 10 people? or 1,000? or a million?
I man, is there some number of innocent people it would take for his followers to finally admit, ok, this guy's bat shit crazy!
At what point does right and wrong become more significant than identity?

True, it should come as no surprise, since 80% of MORmON's typically support Republican Presidents.

Too bad his audience doesn't read the Trib.
