If yoou don't use Instagram you likely won't be able to see it. I was sort of an early user because at that time, my daughter wasn't using Facebook but did post lots of pictures of her family on Instagram.

There's 2 posts, one dated Nov 1 and the 2nd on Nov 18. And he has 129K followers but just 15 following and I bet you can guess who those 15 people are.

He tells the youth to use social media less. He tells the sisters to use social media less at last conference. So what does he do, uses social media more. And now members have to use social media more to stay connected with him.

It's all part of the new church strategy of using social media to promote the church. There was an article on LDS.org about this new strategy. What's funny is the article admitted full time missionaries were not effective and a surprising number of people even in third world countries have smart phones. The church see's the smart phone as a way to reach people more effectively. So get ready to see the church leaders on ever social media platform but like everything else they do it will be a big nothing burger. I expect to see less active LDS members in ten years with nothing productive coming from any of these new schemes they cook up.

I think he's a lunatic. Yes he's creepy looking. Monson never gave me the creeps. I think Monson was like I'm so deep into this now I might as well enjoy the attention and be likable. Russ is crazy enough to think he actually can make a difference. Once his little pop fart of prophecy is over which will be soon due to his age, he will be forgotten and LDS inc. goes on it's merry way.
