I'd put it at about .1% chance of being true. Which is, coincidentally, the same chance I give to monkeys flying out of my ass. Meaning I'm 99.9% certain Joseph's Myth is bogus.

That's pretty much the standard response when you have to account for not being able to prove a negative. It's 100% implausible but you can't "prove" it.
This response shows he is open to new proof because, well, we can't disprove nonsense claims.
Personally, I think the flying monkeys coming from kori's rear are more plausible than the core Mormonism claims..... by maybe .01% :-)

LD$ inc, The MOReMONey Church is TRUE, to its profit motive, always has been. THAT is why it was incorporated from day one (Ap 6 1830) by Joseph Smith with the State of New York just as it was intended to be a money making enterprise in accordance with its corporate charter.
MORmON apologists actually BRAG about that fact of incorporation AS IF it is supreme propriety of the Lord's ( MORmON Jesus) work, right in the script for the movie "The Work and the Glory" and just so there is no mistake about it they explicitly emphasize the point in the director's commentary for that GIGO MORmON propaganda movie.
If it's true, then God has a wicked sense of humor by making it such a cluster f**k of history and doctrine and letting "men speaking as prophets then speaking as men" run the show.
The enemies of truth may weep, wail, and gnash their teeth at what I write as the Book of [word I will not repeat because we're taught its a victory for Satan] says that the wicked take the truth to be hard.
Whenever people read the Church's monthly summary/detail reports on Church finances and statistics we are reminded on whether or not the Church is true, i.e. honest/transparent, or not. As we look at the list of assets, liabilities, cash flow, revenues, and expenses we can think "wow how super honest/transparent this Church is" and do the same as we look at the numbers on births, child baptisms, convert baptisms, missionaries serving, missionaries coming home early, attendance at Sacrament meetings, resignations, deaths, etc.
It would certainly be unthinkable to ever think that the Church ought to be less than fully honest/transparent on these matters. Well I better go find that link to the Church's website so all of you can see this info for yourselves. In the meantime my credibility is toast so I better hurry before any of you start to have doubts form in your mind about whether or not this Church really is the most honest/transparent Church ever.
There’s exactly zero chance that the BoA and BoM weren’t made up. We know how it was done, which sources they cribbed from, and why their narratives are physically impossible.
When my shelf collapsed, it blew my mind. Popped all the breakers. I needed to be sure.
I don’t mind the church being metaphorically true on some level, but living a lie in order to live out someone else’s fantasy seems like a bad way to live.
Back in 2001, soon after the 911 attack, at work, management called in a wellness specialist to help deal with the emotional distress people were feeling.
The specialist was geared to dealing with a one-on-one sessions and not counseling a group of 100.
The session was rather useless and dealt with generalities and nothing specific.
After the session was over I was going back to my cubical along with a fellow employee who at the time was a Bishop, we both knew of each others religious affiliation. We commented to each other how the specialist hadn't brought up that people could possibly go to their religious leaders for comfort and understanding to deal with what the country was going though.
The bishop burst out laughing when I chidingly said "Can you imagine, when you die, that you find out that Bin Laden's religion was the true one." He thought it was hilarious.
