You may have to place your ear directly next to the speaker to hear the Martian winds, but you CAN hear them!
My Dad worked in the aerospace industry, beginning with the national effort which led to us landing on the Moon, from the beginning of that effort through the rest of his working life.
This experience (HEARING the winds on Mars, even through a speaker) would have been one of the topmost highlights of his life.
Even for me, this is a nearly unbelievable experience.

Very cool! I just visited the JPL page on Facebook and it is really enjoyable.
How much did that cost us? Wish I could opt out of paying for other people's hobby, but then somebody with guns would come to my house.
Mars will be a future home for our species one day. It will be terraformed and have a breathable atmosphere. Perhaps the Vikings, Columbus, and the Pilgrims should have stayed home as well?
Hey the landing was a success too of the space rocket that landed on the surface of Mars. That was a big IF, until it happened. Even with all the science, it wasn't guaranteed.
It is very cool to hear. Our tax dollars at work is something I really don't mind contributing toward.
