I recently for fun composed two limericks. Can you add yours and
share the fun?

Oh the Mormons always have it right
Which is why they always act so bright
But their heads are buried in the sand
Its darkness all theirs to command
And this is why the’re not able to see the light

For years I hoped the Mormons had it true
Acknowledging all the while I never knew
Then the Book of Abraham fell off the shelf
I never was again my former self
And so I left because of truths they always blew

This was one of my dad’s favorites:

There was a young lady named Jeanie
Who wore an outrageous bikini
A little strip here and
A little strip there
With nothing butJeanie betweenie

This one always makes me giggle



There once was a lady from Bude

Who liked to swim in the pond

A man in a punt

Stuck his pole in the water

And said "You can't swim here it's private"

There is an old 'sustained as such' prophet named Russel
Who would have us believe that with the devil he had a tussle
After that old Russel he swore
"Holy crap don't you dare say Mormon no more!"

A keen young fellow called Joe,
to a Methodist service did go.
When he went through the door,
a man shouted "you'll come here no more!"
"Get out of this church! Allegro!"

There once was a prophet named Joe
Who'd horn dog wherever h'ed go
His life full of strife
He'd marry your wife
And leep to his death down below
