So that's how you milk the sweet GA gig. Get an all-expense paid trip to Rome with your family. Record a 2-minute video "bearing your testimony" in Rome to justify the trip and then go eat some gelato and take in the sights.

I think it's a shame that they didn't get the full experience. I think standing outside of the prison is not the full experience. They should of been locked up for a few years and then executed. They seem to like to bask in the glory without paying the price of admission.

Actually, Bednar didn't show up for this. He was busy shopping with his wive on the Via Veneto. What we saw was a dummy, and Rasmussen was working the controls in the back. They superimposed Bednar's talking head into the film. Good call. The dummy's lack of movement gave it away.

Between 0:12 and about 0:20, Bednar says it was "more than 2,000 years" ago that Peter & Paul were imprisoned there. He clearly doesn't even know when Jesus lived and died.

It's a good thing for him that testimonies don't have to be factually accurate.

After being judged for 2 years on my grooming and appearance as a full time missionary, Bednar is a absolute wreck in that wrinkled suit jacket. It actually pissed me off to a so-called apostle looking shabby. And don't get me started on the full suit, "I am eating a second dessert" Rasband. He needs a larger suit or he's going to bust out his buttons. And both have crooked neckties! No wonder the church is doing poorly. No leadership at the top!

Yep. That video is about as unprofessional as it gets, and Bednar and Rasband both look like it's their first time in front of a camera. Yet the brainwashed TBMs just fill the comments with adoration for the "awesome" message. Nope. It was dry, devoid of feeling, and condescending.

man that was a painful video shoot. So awkward. The way rasband was moving his lips (reading along while bednar started things), I’m guessing this was the 20th or 30th take. They barely see it to the finish line.
