Want to bet L-d$,inc has bought into this and uses it at Temple Square and in some Temples already?

With Mike Norton and others making videos in the Temples - and the new threat of Porn videos in the temple - I bet the church is using this software or something similar.

We know leadership embraces most anything that will give them greater control. This has great possibilities for them. Scan in faces of all known Porn actors/actresses and as people come into the Temple the software picks them out. Enter faces "in the news" and local members who ask questions or somehow come to leaders attention as less than desirable - and you have the potential for more control.

More to the point - a program to get photographs of every member - enter them into the system and as you enter the Temple with your BarCoded 666 recommend facial recognition software picks up on the fact this person is Not You! Going after NNN and his policy of borrowing recommends to sneak his people in to the Temple.

You think L-d$,inc won't use it? Think again.

But they already have the Power of Discernment and the Holy Ghost helping to catch out the undesirables entering the temple. LOL.

TSCC is really slow to take up new technology.

I would think they'd try fingerprint recognition first if they wanted to go that route. Or more simply, just put photos on recommends.

Agree with Summer, fingerprints or photos on cards would be a first step.

I work with facial recognition software in my job and it is not magical as shown in tv shows.

Lots of things can throw it off such as reflections, poor lighting, gaining or losing weight. Good luck because I doubt in real life it would result in anything but many false matches.

Funny! The lighting is very touchy and that would be a big problem.

So, I don't have to tattoo triangles on my face?

Would turning whiter and more delightsome screw it up?

LDS, Inc. is too cheap to pay for extra security.

They are waiting for microchips to become cheaper, and sold in bulk, like the microchips in dogs and cats and Swedish people.

In a few years, microchips will be easier to inject into people, and bishops will be "qualified" to inject one into everyone who passes the TR worthiness interview. (He's already "qualified" to give marriage, child, sex, and suicide counseling, so why not?) The Mormons want to wait until microchips can be programmed to expire in exactly two years.

I imagine they would just RFID the recommends. That will be more secret than injecting chips into people, cheap and already available, plus it will allow the church to track where any troublemakers have been

(unless of course the troublemaker remembers to leave his card at home, not in a wallet or purse going around everywhere with him)

Using technology to keep track of people seems a little creepy and over the top, doesn't it?

I just cannot imagine the strengthening members committee doing that, can you?

I can just see how the discussion with your Bishop goes soon after you have your church-tracking chip installed. "Well brother Jones, I can see that last Saturday at 9:03 PM, you entered a bar, danced for a while, used the men's room twice, sat at the bar for 56 minutes, and left at 11:29 PM. Did you drink any alcohol while there? Are you dating any non-mormon women?....".
