It was not a harsh article. The church says God changed his mind--fact--and that gays are still second-class citizens--fact--and that it will be difficult to accept married gays while gay marriage is still a sin--fact.

The Mormons consider themselves to be the light of the world--the earth's special ones that everyone is in awe of even if they don't know why. So, any light that falls short of highlighting the legend they are in their own minds, is blasphemy.

I was taught the above all of my young life. The gospel gave Mormons a special glow that everyone was aware of even though they could not understand it. However, it made some fearful and that is why they persecuted us. Gag me with a spoon.
