Does that mean TBMs will shut their pie holes about Jesus coming in the next 4 yrs? I mean, why would he show up when his one true house is under repair?
Every other time I saw an older temple close like that, when it opened the whole venue had changed, with the rooms converted from the live endowment session into the cinema presentation format. What with the new endowment format at hand, can I predict that the SLC temple will finally transition to the same thing?

TSCC said that this will be a unique temple in that it will be the only one that will offer a live-acted session, but it will also have the show available in 85 languages.
Is it an excuse to make the temple and its square more secure from the enemies of the church?
I think NNN has become a giant menace to the church. Just think of how many decades the church got away with it's "This is the lords house. No unclean thing can enter." They have relied on some 85 year old looking over a signed temple recommend and he was supposed to tell people that they could not enter because the holy spirit said so.
I think that the Q15 are terrified that a bunch of ex-mormons that have nothing better to do (and can't leave the church alone) are going to mob storm the temple to disrupt their silly pay-lay-ale rituals.
