Yes, where else would such a story appear than the Daily Mail? ;-) Anyway, I found it funny. Apparently the Mormon bachelor made the women view a PowerPoint presentation, too. Apologies if anyone else has already posted this:

Well, I know I always demand a Power Point presentation on the first date. Which probably explains why I never get a second date. lol

Good luck to him.

I'm sure he will find someone who loves him for just being him.

I watched the video of some of them arriving. I must say that I'm disappointed because none of them were wearing CTR rings.

This was in the Salt Lake Tribune this morning. This little mormon matchmaking organization is saying that the next step is going to be to have a "bachelorette". I wish that the producers for The Bachelor/Bachelorette could sue them for infringement or whatever this might fall under.

I'm a fan of the Bachelor franchise. The bachelors don't have a great track record for picking out a mate. But the bachelorettes tend to do better.

Maybe the estate of Chuck Barris should sue the creators of the Bachelor and Bachelorette for ripping off The Dating Game.

Maybe the writers of Fiddler on the Roof should sue the estate of Chuck Barris for ripping of the song: Matchmaker, matchmaker make me a match, find me a find, catch me a catch...

Looks like some women are wanting to marry the Mormon millionaire. Is it for the money??? Likely.

I guess that's one way to make sure the law chastity is observed.

What kind of woman would go on a date with 20 other women and

one man?

Can we say "hard up looser " . Who would demean themselves like

that?

I agree.

If they weren't Mormons, they could go down to their local watering hole and rassle the first cowboy that stumbles out of the men's room. lol

often. I wouldn't compete. I wouldn't fix them dinner. I wouldn't worship them.

I've never competed for a man.

Good for you! It is just crazy how patriarchal are society is. I can't stand that my gender identification can be so important.

I refused to act stupid so some man could feel smart.

Astonishingly, the mormon who beat me almost to death had to act like he was an expert at everything.

He's also been tossed out of most of the local bars for his obnoxious behavior.

His entire family has a collective IQ of maybe 500 but he expected me to defer to him on any and everything.

When I finally told him to get a job or quit freeloading he almost killed me.

He still thinks he's the best catch around.

Maybe he thinks he is a breeding stud instead of a workhorse?

Ha! The few times I tried he had to go from behind and pretend I was a boy.

But then putting out for a free place to stay is too much like honest work for some people.

Last thing I heard about him he was committing sex crimes against a 90 year old woman. He went from being denied bail to walking the streets again.

I guess it was Mormon Mommy&Daddy to the rescue again.

The whole family is scum.

Careful now, you'll be accused of mansplaining, patriarchy, a reactionary and a guardian of the phallocracy by our resident thought police.

(If you're a woman replace these terms with self-hating etc).

When I was a young single TBM mom living in California I admit was drawn to some of the personal ads of very wealthy men seeking single attractive young women to be their paramours.

Yes it was in conflict with my religion. But when I realized what these guys were looking for was either a mistress or a trophy wife, well I wasn't exactly the type that they'd be interested in anyway lol.

But it was definitely a temptation. Who wouldn't want to be taken care of by a Sugar Daddy? Only these guys are typically narcissistic, self-absorbed, and only want a woman for eye candy they can dangle on their arm, or to be a sex toy they can conveniently keep out of sight of their wives and families.

This quote unquote Mormon millionaire is just stroking his ego. Maybe he wants to know what kind of thrill Joseph Smith and Brigham Young might've felt when they went through all those wives they did like revolving doors. His own little "harem" might feel like a thrill only someone with a million bucks and a Mormon background would have the ballz to indulge ... his polygamous heart is hanging on his sleeve.

Ha ha I also read the Daily Mail and saw the article this morning. I was wondering if any of the women featured in the article were paid models who were hired to be there so that it appeared as if very attractive women applied for the date. I think it is all a publicity stunt to draw attention to the LDS matchmaking agency.

Likely at least to some degree. Mormons and their business ventures.

There's got to be a better way to meet woman than a wholesale group of them altogether, at the same time.

Yipes!

(How good of a catch is he, if he has to advertise?)

Match-making has a long, interesting history.

My last name was the same two vowels side by side, ee/oo/uu, like that. This is unheard of in Spanish. And the reason this exists is because a few centuries ago the Spanish royal family called up Amazon and purchased a Dutch royal family princess, and SHE the double vowel with her.

Really, really rich people have trouble finding someone to fall in love with. One simply cannot depend on the 'cute meet'.

Which is why match-making has a very long history. And why I was able to easily find:

https://bloggerlocal.com/national/reviews/best-high-end-dating-wealthy-matchmaker-agencies-websites

That being said, the millionaire mormon behind the curtain was never an AP. Gauche to the max!

Exactly. I figured: 20 women show, he marries 20 women.

Especially the one who showed porn shoulders.

I wonder if one sexually experienced lover is better than 20 sexually repressed ones?

It sounds like Sister Wives to me. Only he's meeting them all at once. Even if they don't marry him as his polygamous wives, only in Mormonism would someone be okay with this.
