Hi, I have an iPad that had [some] screenshots and short video screen grabs.
I usually transfer to my Windows Surface laptopy thing, then to a memory stick for storage (Being careful not to have any images stored on the laptop).
Yesterday I cleared out the photos on the iPad by moving them to the PC.
I usually check folders to make sure everything transferred, but got lazy this time. And started deleting on the iPad (from the Surface) before checking to make sure files had transferred.
After transferring, 3 folders, 100APPLE, 101APPLE and 102APPLE were mostly empty. Only 102APPLE had files, about 50 of them.
Yet, the Surface C drive has 82 gigs used. And when I comb through the folders in the C drive, there's only 10 gigs of stuff in it.
It's no big deal if the images and videos are lost. But I'd prefer not to have them reappear unexpectedly when using my Surface. (I'm single, but sometimes use computer for presentations)
Any thoughts on this? Is there a hidden "Recycle Bin" somewhere on the Surface (I can't find one anywhere).
Thanks in advance for any advice, not comfortable talking to my usual community circles about this one.
Surface is 1 yr old, iPad is 1 month old.
