Actually it does. You're talking about at least fifty years ago, at which point some board members were not even born... And those who were, were a good deal younger.
Back in the late 1990s/early 2000s his (then) wife was in my ward. She was much younger than he was. She was a convert, and (for a time) very enthusiastic about the church ( I remember once in F&T meeting, she told a story about finding much needed peace by attending the temple in another country.)
She went inactive before I did. I’m embarrassed to admit that I remember discussing her during ward council meeting. Most of the members didn’t even know that she was married to a former rock star.
Last I heard, she was performing non-denominational weddings.
I remember when "Sunshine of Your Love" hit the charts here. Groundbreaking (I was maybe 20) along with signs of ERIC CLAPTON IS GOD from England. When I heard him play "CROSSROADS", I believed it.
Ha ,ha, LOL, my dad thought Alice Cooper was a “ she” also. I wanted the “ schools out” LP for my birthday. If he knew who Alice Cooper was, I wouldn’t of gotten it
Big fan of Cream and Blind Faith . Perhaps the greatest Rock drummer . He and Jack Bruce had a toxic relationship but still made great music together. The reunion at Royal Albert Hall is a good listen . BTW has anyone figured out how many holes it takes to fill that hall?
Neil Peart say of Baker that every rock drummer who followed was influenced by Ginger even if they were unaware of it....high praise from a rock drumming GOD.

Rush are AWFUL though. No comparison. I prefer John Lydon's complimemt which was to invite him into PiL, which was much better than Bum's Rush ever was!!!
