Forget the party focus on their services.
As a believing member you are paying tithing that could be used to insure that your church has indemnity from you and any complaints you bring against it.
And apparently, God setup a way to handle these things without lawyers.

Nothing in the way the Mormon Church is run benefits the members except the following.
Provide documents, a meeting place, and people from a geographic area.
And in doing this they take 10 percent of your income to guilt you into going to a cult dress up film regularly and paying for all their protection from you and your grievances.
Everything is isolated locally.
IF you read that D&C102 you will see the apostles are supposed to be a traveling council for settling things and I assume proselytizing.
Nope.
Everything is buttoned up nicely into mission presidents and conferences to attend and for profit businesses to run.
