Out where the tithing's broke
Their blundering and their Dallin oaks
scold 'em flecks and blessings weasels
Cream in Celestial degrees
The time has come to close FAIR's fare
To pay for rain, not pray for care
The time has come, a pact's a pact
It belongs to them, let's give it back
How can we preach when our kids are learning?
How do we sleep while the kolas are burning?
How can we teach when their funds, our earnings?
How do we sleep while the kolas are burning?
The time has come to close FAIR's fare
To pay for rain, not pray for care
Four Nephis scare the loosest screws
From Kingstons, North to Skin that's Nu
The Western Deseret lives and breathes
In forty, fifty, not three degrees
The time has come to close FAIR's fare
To pay for rain, not pray for care
The time has come, a pact's a pact
It belongs to them, let's give it back
How can we preach when our kids are learning?
How do we sleep while the kolas are burning?
How can we teach when their funds, our earnings?
How do we sleep while the kolas are burning?

I actually sang the whole thing. I loved the Nu skin reference.

Come with me
Through the veil
We'll pray by the glass
And let the minutes pass
Take my hand
Come back to the brand
Let's find a way
Tithing to pay
Let me see you
Stripped down to the skin
Let me see you
Stripped down to the skin
Initiatory
Has oil on this
You're breathing in names
I covenant like a kiss
Take my hand
Come back to the brand
Where creation is ours
For two hours
Let me see you
Stripped down to the skin
Let me see you
Stripped down to the skin
Let me hear you
Make decisions
With inspired television
Let me hear you signing
Just for glory
Let me see you
Stripped down to the skin
Let me hear you signing
Just for glory
Let me see you
Stripped down to the soul
Let me hear you crying
Just for family

Well done! I even "heard" it with Midnight Oil's accent and instrumentals.

It put me in mind of their other hit, "Blue Sky Mine". And the lyrics really don't even need to change, for this verse:

The candy store paupers lie to the share holders
They're crossing their fingers they pay the truth makers
The balance sheet is breaking up the sky
So I'm caught at the junction still waiting for medicine
The sweat of my brow keeps on feeding the engine
Hope the crumbs in my pocket can keep me for another night
And if the blue sky mining company won't come to my rescue
If the sugar refining company won't save me
Who's gonna save me?

Eerie. Almost like the cult isn't really a religion but an ordinary greedy corrupt exploitative capitalist money mining corpora-- oh. Yeah.

Well done both of you! From an Oils fan.

"And the lyrics really don't even need to change, for this verse"

And what a verse.

"The sweat of my brow keeps on feeding the engine"

By the sweat of Mormon brows Mormonism will invest and give them hollow promises, basic reciprocate required charity, and what any conscientious FOR PROFIT multinational conglomerate corporation would do for the world in giving charity.
