I live one block away from my old ward and I'm too lazy

to see if there are any cars in the parking lot. Anyone

know if church was canceled today?

The church cancelled all meetings starting last week.

So if your local ward held meetings, they were not "following the brethren".

So will mormons start enjoying their freedom so much that they will start thinking for themselves ?

So ALLLL those mormons had a free sunday today!!
WHOA!!!

I wonder how many of them held 'sacrement meeting' in their living rooms..
and out of those, how many will still do that at the end of this crisis (say a month or so?)

How long will it take for even the most zealous of TBM to stop the nonsense if there is nobody watching...??

Well here's their chance.

First 10 or 15 minutes was about member input he received for various options, and a report on how different members were using their free time to clean the church or work on the building's systems, and some of the care activities going on. Then he preached a half-hour or so on when difficult circumstances thwart and divert our expectations and plans. He's done deeper material, but this was gently palliative.

More than just making the best of the bad situation, I'd say. Judging by the Facebook page, I'd say at least half the members were watching.
