You two know me on facebook, a very important part of my daily life. I hope that you can let some of my other facebook friends know that I have been banned for thirty days. My crime was that I wrote the word 'flag' and accidentally left out the letter l. Thirty days in the hole for that.

To everyone else here, this is bad news for you. No doubt my madness with exponentially grow in presence hereabouts over the coming month. Alas, my political opinions have no place here. Maybe I'll join a reddit group. I am seriously bummed, because I also liked displaying my sketches and secular short stories on facebook.

There is no means for me to do so. I was given no opportunity.

That's ridiculous that they don't provide that, but does it surprise me? No.

Actually, I did find a way to send in my protest. Thanks for prompting me, cl2.

Maybe you could still write up what you want every day, Don, and it'll be ready to go when your 30 days are up. I understand though that immediacy is appealing and politics moves fast. Today's opinion is tomorrow's trash.

Thanks for your kindness. I was just thinking about this whole thing, and I realized that I am like a musician (always wanted to be one, but alas and alack, I haven't a good ear or any kind of knack for it). Howsomever, I must practice daily or rust in my writing. Facebook (allegedly) had fewer restrictions on the content of my posts, as compared to an exmormon group, thus my constant use of the source.

I do remain, and shall ever remain, a faithful member of the opposition to LDSism.

And yet Facebook will not ban the people who use their feeds to shill MLM products. Go figure.

I got banned once for 30 days for making a joke on FB about BYU lifting the ban on gays on campus,
I just added the caption, "Hopefully this results in more videos on Mormongurlzdotcom and that got me banned.

I share photos to various groups; always giving credit when possible. Though most are my own.

Somebody complained that I had stolen and uploaded their work/photos. So fb went to work and stripped about two years' of my posts. They restricted me from attaching any files for several months.

I think their censorship is beyond ridiculous.

My good friends from Rocklin Deli have been hit with the covid19 virus....they had traveled to Florida in March.
One still at Sutter Roseville hospital.. One in grassvalley area hospital.....one passed. Several did not get the virus.
This have been devastating....

I am lurking there. One of the many benefits of facebook is that friends there direct me to video clips and stories of interest. Same as here.

I tried reddit in the past and it really wasn't my thing. I feel i can learn more here. I still don't know a lot of the facts of mormonisms past and all the dirty secrets and i was born in it but i was definitely kept in the dark about the real truth for most of my life. I just assumed my family knew more than me and i was just missing something. All they knew was a few meaningless rituals in a "temple" and thats about all they knew more than myself. But they made it seem like they were truly superior to me in every way and new some awesome secret but in the end it was just pointless handshakes and a scare tactic video and some chanting. I did dodge a bullet without even realizing it in my opinion.

I gave up on Facebook years ago. The rules just seemed so arbitrary and inconsistently enforced, with no recourse but to accept your punishment.

for over 11 years. It is my way of seeing what she is doing daily. It helps me to deal with her being so far away. Otherwise, I resisted for years.

Thanks for reading, cuzx. On a silver lining note, the partial quarantine + the facebook ban has got me working on my third book. This will be an anthology of my best short stories, and my best illustrative art.
