One thing's for sure, only the really devout TBM's will return when told church buildings are opening again as they're the ones who make their families dress up in their church clothes for "home church." The fence sitters who have enjoyed not having to go to church will quietly go inactive at this point. When that happens, there will finally be social distancing as the attendance will drop quite a bit.

I know this is a stupid question, but I’m going to ask it.
Will the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints go back to using professional cleaning services, or will they demand that the members disinfect (as well as clean) the chapels?
They've lost a lot of people, the older ones (over 70) aren't excited to return, I know my folks aren't, society is waking up to being more health conscious. It's not just the Chinese corona virus, but the flu in general can also be uncomfortable, especially for seniors.
I would hope leadership would change the way sacrament is passed. Boys ripping up the bread is a virus waiting to happen. Other churches use bread(a cracker) and wine(grape juice) in sealed individual cups Maybe they will wear gloves and masks.I can envision gloves and masks being worn when passing the sacrament. I also wonder if sacrament will be a once a month thing. For years it has been taking sacrament every week was so important, now not so much. I see all that guilt tripping because I missed a sacrament meeting was really dumb.
