Now that the mormon church has thrown out scouting, who is going to plant American flags in yards of members who have paid the fee?

Have no fear!! I got an envelope left on my porch today with a flyer inside
"Annual Young Men Flag Fundraiser"

Same idea, but nearly double the cost as in past years. What are they raising money for? Why aren't the young women included so they can share in the proceeds for their activities?

Nope, I'll still put my own flag out and on lots more occasions than they do.

when she was actually working in Utah and not Alaska and she had to go help put up flags and take them down, so I wonder if they are involved???

How much is it now? We only had it one year, the year I was in CO and my husband lived here. He is so cheap, I can't believe he paid for it.

It is now $45.00. A year or two ago it was $25.

When I lived in Provo, and was still attending church, I told them I had no interest in paying for a flag to be put in my yard, it was the last thing in hell I was going to spend money on and especially since I didn't support the Boy Scouts policy of discrimination. They still put a flag in my yard every holiday. Whatever. I guess they thought they'd guilt me into paying it the next year, but they misjudged that one.
