Haven’t been to a restaurant. I don’t intend to for a while. But are people wearing their masks in restaurants just lifting it up bite by bite? Or going on naturale?

Going to any restaurant right now is a really bad idea.

We had to eat outdoors and wore masks until the food arrived. The waiter had a mask for the entire time people were ordering and eating. Tables were spaced. It worked out well, but wasn't as nice as being inside without masks.

Kinda hard to eat with the mask, but I've been out.
The employees where masks. Tables are separated by six feet.
I don't go when it is too crowded. I'm an early eater.
I've never sat at a table as clean as these are now.

From what I understand, you can take off your mask for eating and drinking, but it's to be worn at other times, and employees wear masks for their entire shift. Tables are 6 feet apart at least, and many restaurants only allow people at every other table or booth.

I've only eaten out twice since restaurants opened for dine-in, and both times, the restaurants weren't crowded at all. We kept our masks on until the drinks and food came, then as soon as we finished eating, we put them back on before leaving the restaurant. Some restaurants have even taken over parking spots to make more outdoor seating, and some cities are making more streets only open for pedestrians so restaurants can add more outdoor seating.

I went to my favorite coffee shop in tucson this morning,
everything was going just fine.
Scant patronage but good service
Waitress wore the mask.
Regardless what my personal feelings are I will wear the mask as long as it is officially mandated
PS I just went for coffee

In Germany, you don’t wear the mask at the table, just when you’re walking around.

But COVID is less prevalent here.

I just order liquid food and drink it through a straw like a masked man.

You've just got to do the best you can, or better.

It'll be a different summer. That's for sure!

I've been in a couple....tables sparse and set far apart with all staff masked and wearing gloves.

I have been eating out in Utah for 4-5 weeks and only the workers wear masks. The tables are spread out and if we leave the table we are suppose to social distance.

The last 2 weeks the older people (who would die if they got it are coming back) --- I wouldn't suggest it but I just try to be friendly with them --- socially distanced of course since I know many by sight!
