A mormon stimulus check?

Why doesn't the mormon church send it's members a stimulus check? Yeah, all 16+ million of them. If they are on the membership roll, then bingo, a stimulus check that is hand delivered by their home teachers. Unless, they are strapped for cash and can't afford it.
