Rusty isn't a virologist, he isn't an epidemiologist but TBMs are jacking off all over the place about how we have a physician to guide us in these epidemiological times.

I'd cut him some slack on that. Nelson has likely read more than enough medical literature that he can tell actual research from urban legend. That seems like not a very high bar to clear, but given the number of people who seem to preferentially believe urban legends, it's a useful and important skill.

And I rarely defend Bro Wendy, but I think he understands disease more than any other ding-dong in the space apostleship.
