Why?
Because it's needed for "the work"? or was it simply to have an open house and all the included attention?

if the remodel was to make it a more workable facility so that "the work" would be able to progress, they don't need a new open house. film the fucker and let's be done with it. No. they did the entire remodel to do one of their famous open houses.
So now they've done finished it, but they are waiting to hold the open house (and thereby holding up the eternal progression of untold scores of souls wasting away in spirit prison....oh wait....) until "it is safe to do so."
