Breakfast has become less and less important to me. Sometimes I just have things I'd rather do. This past Sunday was one of those days. Then I got busy and kept putting off lunch. I wasn't hungry anyway. I finally had something to eat around 8:30 PM.

I wonder how I would've felt if some authority figure was demanding I skip some meals.

I fast when I'm too unmotivated to cook...which is more and more often

Right? I have started to loathe cooking. Being cooped up in the house for months on end has made me almost swear off of food also. It's the strangest thing. And I don't get hungry. A bowl of wheaties with banana in the morning and I can be good to go till dinner.

The mere thought of food is most of the time, a turnoff. When my wife was alive and I was cooking for 2 I at least had someone to please so I tried. Now I just do not give a fuck about what I eat.

I am in somewhat the same boat since my wife died 3 years ago

Well, I doubt much different than you did because their demand is that the money you would have spent be their donation to poorer people.

Mormons should look into this - if you don't feel hungry than you're not fasting. But that would be doing something for real instead of fake fasting.
