According to the comments there have been many incidents of runaway trucks in that area.

Has there been any talks of creating more runaway truck ramps?

Maybe they could create a ramp leading straight into a mormon temple. :D

There is a runaway truck ramp in Parleys Canyon. This crash happened in the city, though not far (half mile?) from the mouth of the canyon. It had already exited the interstate.

passed the written exam, but didn't get the air-brake part right;

'Hey! this trip was a life-or-death chance for me to get even with a wife & kids thief; I'll take the air-brake test again and PASS IT THIS TIME !!'
