"Officials believe that a Christmas morning explosion in downtown Nashville was an intentional act, according to a Metro Nashville Police spokesman.

In a brief news conference Friday morning, spokesman Don Aaron said the department's hazardous devices unit was headed downtown in response to a call about a suspicious vehicle when there was a "significant" explosion linked to that vehicle around 6:30 a.m.
"We do believe that the explosion was an intentional act," Aaron said.
Three people have been transported to hospitals form the scene, but none are in critical condition, according to Nashville Fire spokesman Joseph Pleasant."

Also reports of gunshots, ammunition in the RV exploding, and strange noxious odors. One hypothesis: a rolling meth lab. Walter White was not available for comment.

Not a meth lab. Intentional bombing. The RV was broadcasting a looped tape saying it was going to blow up and counting down.

A bomb with a few injuries is often enough to undermine the target population's sense of security. The terrorists can escalate their violence later if necessary.

Yeah, the IRA often gave advanced warning.

It is possible that the police were the targets. Give advance warning to get everybody else out of the area, and somebody is going to call 911. Then the bomb detonates when the police are there.

Nashville isn't country, anymore. Wher've you been? It's not even cliche anymore. AND Nashville has one beat: heartbeat. Maybe that's what you heard.

Noxious odors probably came from AT&T. Batteries for backup, generators, and electronic boards loaded with dangerous chemicals if melted or burned. I know that if a phone company building goes up do not get in the smoke or fumes.

The RV was parked next to the AT&T telecom center where a lot of internet / phone / cable switching lines go in and out of the city and around the central part of the state. They haven't figured out yet if that was the deliberate target.

I think you are talking about Saturnalia, the Roman holiday, which I think lasts 3 weeks and the last day is Dec 25.
People/priests claiming that Dec 25 is Jesus's birthday just shows how little people/priests care about facts.
Makes one wonder how much of the Bible is none sense.

FBI agents asked his employer and his associates about 5G technology paranoia, which might be why he blew up the AT&T building. There is human DNA recovered, it's probably the bombers.

I'll never understand the mental pathology that would lead someone to do that.

Looks like he was a paranoid 5G conspiracy theorist recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. Apparently he figured this was a way to help slow the spread of 5G and end his suffering in one action.

Police were warned a year ago of him building a bomb in his RV.

I hope that "building a bomb in his RV" never comes to rival "building a bomb in his basement" ...
