There's a restaurant in Olympia (Thurston County) called Farm Boy Drive-in. I'm assuming by the name that you can drive and park, place your order in some sort of talk box, and someone, possibly on roller skates, will bring your food to you while you sit in your car. But I could be wrong.

Well, Farm Boy Drive-in and Spiffy's in Morton (Lewis County) have been allowing people to come inside and sit down to eat. A judge said, "No. People can order, and they can pick up, but they can't sit down and eat. And aren't you a drive-in anyway, Farm Boy?"

Farm Boy said, "Poop on you."
Our Lewis County Sheriff said, "Don't be a sheep." <-- that is true
The poor health inspector said, "Er. They're sitting in there."

One of the yelling people doxxed the health inspector, and people protested outside their house.

Yesterday Farm Boy and Spiffy's had their day in court! Except Spiffy's was issued a continuance and is in Lewis County. But Farm Boy? The gavel of Thurston County justice said, "Nope. Not having it. You are in contempt of court, and, hey, aren't you a drive-in anyway?"

Now it's not like Ammon Bundy’s group, People’s Rights, aren't already here in spirit. We've got Patriot Prayer and the Three Percenters out there acting the fool, too.

~One in 34 people in Lewis County has been infected.

We're at about 33 cases per 100,000 residents. WA state is at about 25 cases per 100,000.

But people just gotta eat inside, ya know?

I'm cool with the trucks, and I'm cool with the gun racks. I need a truck, and I might get a Mossberg at some point.

All I asked my realtor for was an area where I wouldn't find a flaming cross on my lawn. Is that too much to ask? (Yes, I really said that to her.)

Seems about right to me. 1 out of 34 is around 3%.

They're a fucking paramilitary group, ETA: Not Jordan.

One in 34 is about one kid in a large public school classroom.

Holy s**t, you thought I was Jordan?!? Ow, that hurts.

Not at all - I was making fun of the Three Percenters by noting that was the approximate infection rate. I'm well aware that the group is no more than a motley bunch of overweight man-boys cosplaying army in the forest.

Not only is it a hoax, the hoax has now killed one out of every thousand Americans. Not one out of every thousand infected. One out of every thousand of all Americans.

Think about that for a minute.

By the first anniversary of the first death, it will be more like one out of every 700 Americans will have died. Probably close to one out of every 500 by summer.

We are on track right now to be losing the equivalent of all American casualties in Vietnam (58,000) every two weeks.

Pretty impressive for a hoax. We have the best hoaxes.

[edit to add] a Vietnam-sized loss every two weeks would be just over 4,000 deaths a day. We aren't quite there yet, but I expect we will hit 4,000 deaths a day within the week, possibly even tomorrow.

It's so hard to wrap your head around the numbers.

The next time these yodelheads protest at the Capitol, I might show up with a list of names and a bullhorn, or maybe a karaoke machine - bullhorns are obnoxious - and read a list of names of everyone in this state that has died.

Fauci's herd immunity could be debatable, but on the other side of the coin, maybe the there is just nature thinning the herd, I.e., getting rid of the sick, ill and elderly.

I believe the death rate for those over 60 y.o., is over 50% both historically and with COVID.

The death rate of those over 60 is 100%. It's the same for people under 60.

Yes, pandemics are a natural means of culling the herd. But so too is extinction. For better or worse, human civilization is based on a determination to prevent nature from taking its course.

You can't really say that continued use of support received from maybe prophylactic measures along with everyday zinc and vitamin D wouldn't have possibly saved tens of thousands of lives!

And even now ivermectin is becoming known as a possible prophylactic aid and still CNN has more nasty nasty things to harp on about. So terribly sad, somebody should sue.

As tragic as the deaths are, other losses -

- confidence in government / governing can't be helpful

- loss of time with friends & family is a tragic loss as well.

- loss of business - commercial capacity & opportunities, employment, wages/income

Individuals are wearing out of patience & understanding to the responsibilities of living together, living off the grid isn't contributing to resolution.

Democratic run cities may have an increased focused limelight upon them like maybe never before.

Less time with toxic LDS family means less decompression procedures exercised, heh.. More time with hobbies and projects.

Go to the desert, go to the mountian. There is a reason a peak is pointed, no-one but you can fit very well.

Yup. Restaurants must be open, but our local hospital is turning away people. Good luck to you if you get sick.

One local restaurant group prevailed in a court battle, so now restaurants will be open at a low capacity. However, patrons must give their contact information for contact tracing purposes, which is provoking the predictable outrage. As one local wag put it, it's so if your server (who is around so many unmasked people,) comes down with Covid, you will be notified so that you can complain to the restaurant that your server made you sick.
