Even though she left the church decades ago, it seems like she still has at least one Mormon trait... That forced grin you'd associate with missionaries telling you they love the Book of Mormon or reluctant teenagers being made to give a testimony.

A lot of the people commenting on the video mention this and saying how insincere it looks. As a one time member myself, I know exactly where she got it from - her upbringing.

I've seen her on the Corbet show over several year and I really don't think it's a mormon grin.

She's too honest & straightforward to have even a tinge of mormonite in her.

I don't see it. Her eyes are too expressive. She needs that blank, glassy-eyed stare.

I agree that she is way too animated to be a Mormon. The RS women would criticize her for that, and for being a career woman. She doesn't fit the mold.

I suggest you guys take a listen to what she is saying here. It's pretty sinister.

It's a simple interview in which she says she thinks being a New Zealander and being a global citizen are synergistic.I don't know whether she uses her right hand or her left hand, but that is the only sense in which she could be sinister.

I see her as someone who knows the importance of projecting well on camera--which can be daunting. Don't see insincerity, and, I don't see her as overly polished either which makes her more believable for me.

Perhaps insincerity is in the eyes of the beholder?

She is a great contrast to my family that all use the special "testimony voice" when making any address of supposed importance.
