Dodger Stadium’s mass COVID-19 vaccination site was shut down Saturday afternoon as about 50 protesters gathered at the entrance, stalling hundreds of motorists who had been waiting in line for hours.

The Los Angeles Fire Department closed the entrance to the stadium — one of the largest vaccination sites in the country — for about an hour, starting just before 2 p.m., as a precaution, officials said.

The demonstrators included members of anti-vaccine and far-right groups. While some carried signs decrying the COVID-19 vaccine and shouting for people not to get the shots, there were no incidents of violence.

“This is completely wrong,” said German Jaquez, who drove from his home in La Verne and had been waiting for an hour for his vaccination when the stadium’s gates were closed. He said some of the protesters were telling people in line that the coronavirus is not real and that the vaccination is dangerous.

“This is the wrong message,” Jaquez said. “I’ve been waiting for weeks to get an appointment. I am a dentist; I am taking a big risk being around patients. I want to be safe for my patients and for my family. The vaccine is the only way to beat the virus.”

A fire department official said the vaccination site reopened a few minutes before3 p.m. The site is usually open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

A post on social media described the demonstration as the “SCAMDEMIC PROTEST/MARCH.” It advised participants to “please refrain from wearing Trump/MAGA attire as we want our statement to resonate with the sheeple. No flags but informational signs only.

“This is a sharing information protest and march against everything COVID, Vaccine, PCR Tests, Lockdowns, Masks, Fauci, Gates, Newsom, China, digital tracking, etc.”

I'm anxiously waiting getting the vaccine. I'm in the next group.

I had my second vaccine last Thursday, 3 weeks after the first one. Because I am in an assisted living facility, we were given priority to receive the vaccine.

So they think that it's the clothes and flags that make them look crazy? This is hilarious to me.

I agree. Arrest them and prosecute them. If police or soldiers need to be posted at mass vaccination sites to secure those locations, then do that. People have been waiting too long to give up precious doses of vaccine.

"SALMON CREEK, Wash. — Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, just north of Vancouver, was put into lockdown Friday night because of a protest outside its building. A KATU crew at the hospital reported there was a heavy law enforcement presence outside the hospital.

Protesters said there was a patient inside who was being held against her will because she wouldn't submit to a COVID-19 test. That is according to a woman who started a livestream on the YouTube Channel of Ammon Bundy, who is mostly known for his 2016 takeover of the Malheur National Wildfire Refuge in Oregon.

According to the Clark County Sheriff's Office, a woman had called authorities to report that her mother, who was admitted to the hospital the day before for medical reasons, was now being held against her will. The woman said she had a medical Power of Attorney over her mother and was not being allowed in to see her.

The patient refused to submit a COVID-19 test upon being admitted to the hospital and was subsequently placed in 24-hour quarantine for protection while receiving medical treatment. Hospital personnel also told authorities that the daughter refused to wear a mask when coming into the hospital, so she was not allowed access to her mother."

The problem isn't the fake news. The problem is when someone calling something fake doesn't offer evidence, reference or an substantiation at all that the news is fake.

Accusations should always be served with a side of proof. No?

Besides politicians who argued that the pandemic was a "hoax" and would disappear "miraculously," Trump supporters who attended rallies without masks, traditional anti-vaxxers who think the medical treatment leads to autism; besides RfM posters who keep telling us that Bill Gates is using vaccines to implant microchips so humans can be controlled or to depopulate the human race; besides those who believe that public health measures are a form of socialism underwritten by Jewish Illuminati like George Soros in order to enslave all humans?
