Compensating for not quite getting the voices down as perfectly as a Rich Little, Mike has a knack of capturing the psychology, the inner essence, of his subjects.

His Mitt is pretty good. He has a new one that has put many on the floor with laughter, a 4:20 loving Noam Chomsky.

The creation of these skits can be had live on Wednesdays, late afternoon, on YouTube. I recommend it not so much for the skits, which are good, but for the banter between two comedians in between the skits. It’s live and it’s two comedians, so be prepared for anything. Mitt comes up a lot. And Mike knows a lot about Mormons for some reason (he’s from Missouri). He’s corrected a few Mormon jokes for accuracy.

If you see it live, at the end Mike sometimes will treat Jimmy with Mo Green from The Godfather. These don’t make the channel as a skit. Fall on the floor dead laughing, not literally but you fear it literally. And it’s all ad-libbed, all off the cuff, all created out of thin air.

I’m in awe of comedians. They make it look so easy.
