Others have probably already posted about it, but it is so weird to watch it.

I've been out for 13 years, and don't even live around any mormons. But this show brings it all back, and it's so embarrassing.

I've only watched the first episode, and a little of the second. Seeing the "spiritually uplifting" films makes us look so crazy. I'm sure if my never mormon wife watched, she'd say, "That works on you guys?"

The guy bragging about giving Hoffman a blessing at the bombing scene, and "Commanding him to live" huge eye roll. Same with his holy oil mention. How can I let her see this!

News people talking like it is the only church there is, just everything about it is so embarrassing. We were part of a really weird church.

Yeah, the priesthood blessing "commanding" him to live. Wonder if having the priesthood allows one to rescind previous blessings?

Why haven't doctors and researchers been flocking to Utah hospitals
to investigate the phenomenally superior cure rates that surely must result from the super saturation of priesthood power in the region?

Conversely, could he command someone to die ?

Only if he was commanded by god so that he could steal historical documents. Even then, he'd have had to have used his own sword.

Wow, I completely forgot about that c̶l̶o̶w̶n̶ priesthood holder.

Once you are out, it all looks so stupid. It's incredible how being part of the church blinds people from seeing how embarrassing they are.

Dagny, yea same one. I don't drop in very often. But fun to be remembered anyway.

I remember when this happened. I was TBM. But, the way things unfolded and handled so badly by the top guys at COB just gave me an unsettling feeling.

Mormonism is weird but we live in a weird world and there are plenty of other weird organizations and people around.
