Gentle community members,

I have asked before that we treat each other kindly and politely. Some of you have taken that to heart, and I thank you for it.

However, there has also been a certain amount of bickering and name calling. I ask for that to stop. There is no excuse for name calling and making accusations; all that does it spiral into arguments and bad feelings.

Reasonable people can disagree and still have thoughtful dialogues with each other, and that's the kind of behavior I expect from the RfM community. I know that it can be difficult to gauge emotions in online forums, so if posters aren't careful, conversations spiral into anger and fighting. Please think about what you have written before you post.

It doesn't matter how right you think you are, or even may be: if you can't express yourself politely and kindly, then you're not going to convince anyone anyway. Please stop bickering with each other.

I agree. I have been the recipient of some bad things and although I am generally able to shrug it off there are still some unkind feelings left that shoudn't be there
