I’m lying on the couch, resting from my Pfizer shot, and decided to flip on the tv, and oh geez, LDS General Conference is on an antenna TV station here. I’m listening to a previously recorded choir of Korean children sing “I Love to See the Temple” in Korean. Ack!

And what’s on opposite to that? The Stanley Cup playoffs?

I’m feeling serious whiplash on top of my fatigue.

Tyson, thinking of going back to bed

conference. Don't have to listen more than a second and know you just hit on conference. I don't have anything but local channels where my computers are and I work here and WE ARE BUSY today, so I'm watching old westerns?!?!

I had my second Pfizer shot on Friday. I didn't feel well that evening, but I'm okay now. My arm doesn't even hurt very bad. I feel lucky.

I’m pretty sure we didn’t deliberately leave the tv on Cosi TV, which is where they are apparently broadcasting - since we pretty much don’t watch Cosi.

My husband joked that it’s a sign. LMAO.

Was your husband raised in a religion? I love his reply.

The whole thing has become a Cecil B. DeMille Hollywood extravaganza.
It includes glamorous stars, fabulous makeup, a heavily edited script, and Cinemascope production

the most amazing thing about GC is that some people (really, actually) enjoy it & talk it up to friends, family.

Such is Mormonism.

It was triggering for me too. and I only had to sit through 2 talks before I could escape to the basement. Old men lecturing us on our tribulations and demanding obedience. It seemed manipulative... I wasn't buying.

“I’m listening to a previously recorded choir of Korean children sing “I Love to See the Temple” in Korean.”

They must be from North Korea.
