Head?

Mormonism strikes me as more a toupee type of religion.

A cousin is an active member, former bishop and employee of the church sports a shaved head and has done so for the past 20 years.

He got a bit of static at first, but he stood his ground.

Grudgingly, he has been accepted with his shiny, aberrational head....

I've never know a Mormon who cared much one way or the other.

OTOH...

a friend told me that shaving each others pubes is / can be fun with your friend/buddy/lover....

They are very active mormon, though I think he'd leave long before my daughter would.

Now it's only a matter of time before the church announces that members can brush their teeth without explicit priesthood authorization.

When they all have beards the fad will be over.

I wan't even bald, but the ph leaders went through the roof over my crew cut. They threatened to forbid me to pass/administer the sacrament. Oh my!!!

By golly I wish I would have been excused from saying prayers, reading scriptures in class and giving talks in sacrament meeting too!

They tried to get my Mom to somehow change my irreverent hair style. Was I supposed to wear a wig?

Later when I was 16-17 (priest age), they didn't seem to give a damn. The former stake president had disfellowshipped and exed so many youth, there was about 4-5 of us left to say their silly sacrament prayers.

I had another young men president flip out about shaving my legs so I could get my ankles taped for playing sports. That was a serious nad grave sin to him.

In the early-1980s, one of my BYU roommates shaved his head so their would be no chance of breaking the grooming code. His best friend grew the most massive mustache, trimmed at exactly the corner of his lips. Neither got into trouble, but this was the early 80s.
