Why can't we edit any more? General question.

We used to be able to edit our posts. At some point that changed. Why? Will that feature ever be reinstated?

Well, off the top of my head there are two things. One is you must be signed in to your account. Two, there is a time limit.

I don't know about "always," but it's been in place for years. It surprised me, too, when I first figured it out.
