It appears to me that the whole religion

is based on the delusional fantasies of an extremely creative teenager who developed into a fantastic writer of historical fiction because that is all the Book of Mormon is!!

OED (the one true dictionary) defines fantastic as "Imaginative or fanciful" in it first definition. If he did indeed write the BOM I think he qualifies under that.
