I am in Orem Utah and he was in Mayer Arizona some 600 miles away

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. Sure wish this wasn't still happening. Do you know if he contracted Covid recently? Or was this a many weeks long struggle with it?

I am not sure just when he contracted it but he was hospitalized for 9 days the removed to hospice where he died

True. I'm hoping the delta variant doesn't take hold here. There are far too many people unvaccinated to feel confident this is completely over. We'll see soon enough. The progress we have made so far has been amazing.

People are still dying and families and friends are still devastated.
