Time has sure flown by. 15 years ago today, my sister sent me a link to this website. I read for hours, and visited other websites, learning the truths that had been kept hidden from us. I was in my 40s, had graduated seminary, got a degree from BYU, and really knew the gospel well. Or so I thought.

Three days later I was out, and my then teenaged children left the cult as well. Five months later we officially resigned.

We’re all thriving and doing well. I don’t post here often, but I do take a peek now and then. Glad to see that more and more people continue to find their way out.

For those of you just getting out of Mormonism, you have a wonderful journey ahead of you. So much of life to learn about and to live!

Indeed. And I’ve been watching over the years as Mormon leaders keep changing church doctrine/policy.

It’s certainly no longer the church I knew for most of my life. I mean, you can’t even become gods and goddesses anymore ;)

I suppose it's been about 13 years for me that my disbelief crystalized into a new viewpoint. But I was never particularly orthodox beforehand.

TG, 10 years ago this December I clicked on subjected matter on fairmormon that taught me about polyandry, Mary Lightner, Helen Kimball and the rest as you can say is a closed book.

FREEDOM is better than (fake) FREE-agency [which is neither]! A FREE-AGENT can do what they want [the way life is meant to be], NOT what they are told, or forced, to do, think, say or believe.
