This was not what we expected in the least, when we visited three weeks ago.

Condolences Tyson. Sorry to read that. The fast decline doesn't leave enough time.

I had a cousin who died a few years ago 12 days after her 91-year-old mother. She had been diagnosed with cancer in October and died on November 12th alone in her condo. It was a total shock as she hadn't even started therapy yet.

Wow. I'm glad you got to see her 3 weeks ago at least.
Sending best thoughts to you and your extended family.

Yeah, three weeks ago, we didn't even know she had cancer - let alone stage IV cancer disseminated throughout a bunch of organs.

That's what most mind-blowing in this. She was a little slower, had a few problems with swallowing and was winded a lot. But none of that screamed out that she was so sick. And she was planning to see a doctor after we left and had already seen one in March with no problems. It's just so much, so fast.

That's crazy fast. That was some kind of stealthy nuclear cancer. What a shock.

I'm concerned because I think you said your mom has the same kind of cancer. Very scary.

My mother’s was discovered accidentally in a scan in January 2017. She’s had surgery, proton therapy, and chemotherapy, the combination of which have kept her alive.

My mother-in-law’s was severely advanced but somehow stealthy. We don’t get it.

I am so sorry for you and your family, Tyson.

That was enormously swift.

I wish you, and everyone concerned, the best possible.
