Very objective documentary on 9/11 and its aftermath. Most I knew but a few pieces that were new.

Well, he had 4 years or 1460 days. Either he didn't want to win the war, or he was too busy playing golf.

"Entertaining" is not a word I would use, there. "Frightening" is more like it. Read the latest book about it.

The problem with the former president's claim is that there are those who believe it.

He would just have declared victory and retreated--then declared victory again.

Like he does with elections.

Profiteering and contracting out 14 trillion dollars to fir profit corps is the only reason why the "Afghan war" continued on with no real purpose other than keeping the mic happy and employing Americans.

Like everything else he says, it's a fantasy.

The war against the Soviets ended years before the Taliban formed. Is it your view that 1980s weapons without spare parts and ammunition were still important in the 2010s and 2020s?

Need to make it clear: THIS time the weaponry we left behind was NOT set to expire. We left behind State of the Art Radar Systems and very advanced technology which will, you can bet, be reverse-engineered and used against us.

Outfitting Terrorists with the latest in technology such as Night Vision Goggles, and Radar Systems is BAD. VERY BAD.

THIS time what was done was a VERY BAD move.

ETA: But after thirty years, in 2050, most of that ca 2020 weaponry won't serve much purpose other than as doorstops and letter openers.
