I won’t spoil it if you haven’t seen it, but watching it as an exmormon is perfect. The shocking revelation that it was all a lie. The way the familiar turns sinister even though it still feels familiar. The way your foes become your friends and your friends become your foes. Deep exmo feels when watching that movie.

I've watched it a couple times and like it. Vanessa Leo's voice as the controller brings to mind my reading 1984 in 1964 and how disturbing it was.

Good movie, saw it when it came out.

Good soundrack by M31 as well.

The film is really about the perception of human reality -- not so much as a delusion, but more about taking what we see at face value.

It's from an unpublished graphic novel.
