In a somewhat frantic tone on The Jim Bakker Show this week, televangelist Jim Bakker begged his followers for money, saying that if he didn’t pay his bills, his show would soon be taken off the air.

“I’ve been told that the network is gonna cancel our broadcast within another week,” Bakker said. “We’ve got to catch up on the bills, and that’s about a million dollars.”

Don't get too excited. This is just another shameless stunt to keep the suckers sending $$$. I bet the sheep will send more than that, but Bakker will never reveal the true amount.

My advice: sending him nothing is the best option to save money. You keep your money out of his scams and, if he does get cancelled, you won't have to buy me anything for Christmas. I'll have gotten the wonderful gift of having a scam artist off the air.

Never cared for him nor his syrupy, spider-eyed wife Tammy.
Had an elderly aunt in the 80s who was lonely and often wanted me to stay with her on weekends or school days. She watched game shows like Press your Luck and Christian shows like Jim B.

AND she had a party line phone. So, I really couldn't even talk on the phone very long.

I was miserable there.
