All due respect to Mr. Gandhi or whoever may have said that but . . . .

Considering there are 8 billion people on the planet divided into groups with conflicting agendas, I find this quote very Pollyanna-ish and naive. There are more disparate groups on the planet than there have been Gods-- which is saying something.

I could turn it into a "process" for my whole life and not change the world. Getting a vaccination myself had no effect on the anti-vaxxers whatsoever, for example. I did not change their attitude towards me and there is no divine mystery about it.

I have found most people take your kindness to be weakness so the nicer you are the more you are taken advantage of.

I respect that it is our favorite but to me it sounds like something to say when competing in a Miss America pageant.
