Hey mods, Did my post about spiritual ransom ware violate a board rule of some sort? It seems to have disappeared quite quickly, before anybody even commented.
I got distracted by all the sites listed on the right and kinda went down a bite of a rabbit hole... Certainly there was nothing overtly objectionable that I noticed.
But then I never went back to read the actual article... Was it pro-mormon? Because we won't have any of that, you know!!

That was my first thought too Elder. I reviewed the post to see if there was anything that could be mistaken for promotion (or apologetics), but there was nothing I could see. SRB
…and no, it wasn’t pro-church. The TLDR indicated that the blog post was an argument drawing an analogy between missionary work and ransomware. There is no way someone would read it and think it was pro-LDS—-unless the scanned it looking for key words like “cult” and “tscc”—all of which I eschew, and failing to find such terms, incorrectly concluded it must be on the side of the church.
